A vibrant nose of spice and red fruit abound on this wine. Cranberry, sweet red bing cherry and raspberry flood the palate with a medium-bodied, soft-texture. Perfect Barbera
This Chardonnay is that ideal balance between richness and brightness. Peach, pineapple, and honesuckle play with the hints of lemon citrus and subtle vanilla spice.
El Tinto Lot 43—This Zinfandel/Barbera blend spotlights the dark berry fruit of Zin with the red fruit characters of Barbera. A big wine with a huge entry of cherry and boysenberry, the 77% Zinfandel in the blend drives the wine all the way into the mid-palate where the 23% Barbera starts to take charge with its cranberry/red cherry focus (and balancing acidity). The finish, though, rounds back to berry flavors of Zin, lingering with an intertwining pinch of sweet vanilla oak. Great with barbecue and comfort foods alike!
This beautiful Grenache shows both the freshness of the variety and the depth of the region. Cinnamon spice and strawberry fill nose while the full-bodied (yet still structured) palate harkens more to fresh cherries. But the finish is all black raspberry. Enjoy this classic expression!
2023 Vintage
A beautiful strawberry/watermelon aroma greets the senses on this fresh low-alcohol rosé, perfect for the summer. Rich on the entry, more wild strawberry on the palate, and a bright citrus finish give the semblence of dryness on a very elegant wine!
A very pretty nose lifts from this white Rhone Blend. With 38% Roussanne, 37% Marsanne, and 25% Viognier, the wine is both rich and complex with a luscious texture filled with honey, tropical fruit, and a beautiful floral candy.
Earthy aromas filled with wild mushroom and forest floor characters. This mixes on the entry with dark cherry and hints of candied blueberries, framed on a rounded palate and a not to the mountain-grown roots of this Merlot!
Rustic in nature and perfect with grilled dishes this wine pulls the best from Syrah and Cabernet and puts them together. Black cherry and earthy characters come forth with a bold and enveloping entry (Syrah), and then the Cab takes over and providces the balance.
This premiere Italian variety grown in our mountain vineyards is rounded and tannic at the same time. While the lighter color of the wine builds expectations of something light, this is Nebbiolo - bold and extracted. Dried spice and dried fruit characters abound in the 2019 vintage with a rich and youthful experience.
The aromas really embrace the black pepper aspects of the variety with other savory spices layering throughout. More mountain red fruit builds with each sniff as plum and subtle soy sauce lend even more complexity. The entry on this wine is mouth-filling but not overly luscious as riper Zins sometimes are. There’s a striking density to the wine both in color and texture as the first sip floods the senses. Darker berry fruit with that pinch of spice fills the mid-palate while embracing the cool-climate acidity, keeping the wine fresher and more inviting.
