Maggie's foray in to making wines has produced two exquisite examples of terroir purity in the heart of the El Dorado appellation. With the brainstorm of producing a lower-alcohol expression of Riesling ($26) and Cabernet Franc ($30), Maggie's M-Series of wines has been born.
The first two wines are a 2019 Riesling (only some 15 cases produced) and 2019 Cabernet Franc (48 cases produced) off our new clones over at Rucksack. Both wines are 100% varietals with wonderful focused and pure expressions. And following through on Maggie's original concept, the Riesling is 12.4% alcohol and the Cabernet Franc at 12.6%. Both wines are wonderfully balanced!
